문화재청 궁능유적본부 경복궁관리소(소장 원성규)는 4월 5일부터 5월 31일까지 2023년 봄 경복궁 야간 관람을 운영하고, 3월 29일(수) 오전 10시부터 온라인 예매를 시작한다.
* 관람 시간: 4.5.~5.31.(휴무일 제외) 오후 7시부터 오후 9시 30분까지(입장마감 오후 8시 30분)
* 휴무: △매주 월·화요일, △궁중문화축전 행사 준비 및 공연 기간[4. 26.(수)~5. 2.(화)]

  경복궁 야간 관람은 매년 예매 시작과 동시에 매진될 만큼 큰 인기를 누리고 있는 대표적인 궁궐 활용 프로그램으로, 특히 상반기 야간 관람에서는 봄꽃이 만개한 경복궁의 야경을 감상할 수 있다. 계절의 특성에 맞춰 올해부터는 행사명을 ‘상반기 야간관람’ 대신, ‘봄 야간관람’으로 변경하였다.

  야간 관람이 가능한 개방 권역은 광화문·흥례문·근정전·경회루·사정전·강녕전·교태전·아미산 권역(개방면적 34,000㎡/10,285평)이다. 이 중 경회루와 그 주변에서는 흐드러지게 피어있는 수양벚꽃과 연못에 비친 경회루의 아름다운 운치를 감상할 수 있다. 또한, 교태전 후원인 아미산에서는 은은한 조명 사이로 봄꽃이 만개한 봄밤의 정취를 만끽할 수 있다.

  관람권은 사전 온라인 예매('11번가 티켓' https://ticket.11st.co.kr)로 미리 구매해야 하며, 1일당 판매수량은 2,500매이다. 4월 관람권은 3월 29일(수), 5월 관람권은 4월 26일(수) 각각 오전 10시부터 예매가 시작된다. 외국인의 경우 별도로 관람 당일 광화문 매표소에서 하루 200매에 한해 표를 현장 구매할 수 있다. 온라인 예매와 현장 구매 모두 사재기 및 암표 판매를 방지하기 위해 인당 2매까지 구매를 제한한다.
* 관람일 본인 확인용 신분증 지참 권장(외국인은 필수)

  관람권 예매가 필요 없는 무료관람 대상자는 국가유공자 본인 및 배우자, 중증장애인 본인과 동반 1인, 경증장애인 본인, 국가유족증 소지자 본인, 만 6세 이하 영유아, 만 65세 이상 어르신, 한복착용자로서 흥례문(출입문)에서 신분증 등을 제시하고 관련 사실을 확인받은 후 입장하면 된다. 더 자세한 사항은 경복궁관리소 누리집(www.royalpalace.go.kr)을 참고하거나 전화(경복궁관리소 ☎02-3700-3900～1)로 문의하면 된다.

  문화재청 궁능유적본부 경복궁관리소는 이번 ‘경복궁 봄 야간관람’으로 국민들이 우리 고궁의 아름다움과 소중함을 느끼게 되길 기대하며, 앞으로도 다양한 체험 프로그램을 개발․운영하여 고궁이 누구나 누리는 문화공간으로 활용되도록 노력할 것이다.

The Gyeongbokgung Palace Management Office (Head Won Seong-gyu) of Royal Palaces and Tombs Center at the Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA) will operate the 2023 Spring Gyeongbokgung Palace Night Tour program from April 5 to May 31.The opening hours are from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.(Last admission: 8:30 p.m.).

The Gyeongbokgung Palace Night Tour is a representative tourism program based around Seoul’s greatest royal palace. As the program is much loved by the public, the tickets sell out immediately every year. In particular, visitors can appreciate the beautiful nightscape of Gyeongbokgung Palace during the first half of the year when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Therefore, the program’s name has been changed from “Night Tour for the First Half of the Year” to “Spring Night Tour” to reflect the characteristics of the season during the opening period.
The Night Tour takes in a number of zones (opening area: 34,000㎡) including Gwanghwamun Gate, Heungnyemun Gate, Geunjeongjeon Hall, Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, Sajeongjeon Hall, Gangnyeongjeon Hall, Gyotaejeon Hall, and Amisan Garden. Highlights include Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, where the beautiful scenery of weeping cheery blossoms harmonize with the pavilion’s reflection in the pond, and Amisan Garden, the rear garden of Gyotaejeon Hall, whose magnificent nighttime view of spring flowers illuminated with subtle lighting dazzles countless visitors.

Visitors are advised to purchase their tickets in advance from the online reservation site(11 Street ticket website: https://ticket.11st.co.kr). 2,500 ticketsare available each day. Tickets go on sale from 10 a.m. on March 29 (Wed.) for April admissions and from 10 a.m. on April 26 (Wed.) for May admissions. Visitors from overseas can purchase tickets at the Gwanghwamun Ticket Office on the day of their visit (200 tickets per day).
* The sale of tickets is limited to two tickets per person to prevent hoarding and illegal ticket sales.
* Visitors are recommended to carry their identity card for personal verification on the day of their visit. (It is essential for foreign visitors.)

Visitors eligible for free admission without reservation include persons of national merit and their spouse, persons with a serious disability and their companion, persons with a mild disability, holders of the certificate for a national bereaved family, toddlers under the age of 6, seniors over the age of 65, and visitors dressed in hanbok (traditional Korean clothes). To enter the palace, they must present and confirm their ID at Heungnyemun Gate (Entrance).
