문화재청 한국전통문화대학교(총장 강경환) 문화유산전문대학원은 3월 25일 오후 2시 한국전통문화대학교(충남 부여군) 유현당에서 싱가포르 국립대학교(총장 탄응체, Tan Eng Chye) 디자인공학부 건축학과와 우호적이고 지속 가능한 학술 및 문화 교류를 목표로 하는 양해각서(MOU)를 체결한다.

이번 협정은 양 기관 간 문화유산 보호·연구·교육 분야에서의 협력을 강화하고, 한국전통문화대학교 문화유산전문대학원의 국제문화유산협동과정(석·박사과정)과 싱가포르 국립대학교 디자인공학부 건축학과의 MAArC 석사 프로그램 간 교수, 연구원, 교직원, 학생들의 교류 촉진을 목적으로 한다. 이와 함께, 양 기관은 연수회(워크숍), 학술회의(컨퍼런스) 등을 공동 개최하고 학술 및 교육 연구 사업을 개발해 협력의 폭을 넓혀갈 계획이다.
또한, 이번 협력을 통해 상호 간의 학술 및 문화적 이해를 증진하고, 국제적 협력의 새로운 기회를 모색하고자 한다.

문화재청 한국전통문화대학교는 앞으로도 국내 유일한 국가유산 특수 대학으로서 해외 유관기관과의 교류 협력을 적극적으로 확대해, 국가유산 분야 전문인력 양성과 국내외 교류 증진에 크게 기여하는 적극행정을 이어갈 것이다.

The Graduate School of Cultural Heritage at the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage (President Kang Kyung-Hwan), under the Cultural Heritage Administration, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Architecture, College of Design and Engineering at the National University of Singapore (President Tan EngChye) on March 25 at 2 PM at Yuhyundang, located in Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. This MOU targets fostering friendly and sustainable academic and cultural exchanges between the two institutions.
This agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in the fields of cultural heritage protection, research, and education between the two institutions. It specifically seeks to facilitate exchanges among faculty, researchers, staff, and students between the International Cultural Heritage Studies (Master's and Doctoral levels) at the Graduate School of Cultural Heritage, Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, and the MAArC Master's Program in the Department of Architecture, College of Design and Engineering, National University of Singapore. Additionally, both institutions plan to broaden their collaboration through the organization of joint workshops, conferences, and the development of academic and educational research projects.
Furthermore, this collaboration aims to enhance mutual academic and cultural understanding and explore new opportunities for international cooperation.
The Korea National University of Cultural Heritage, as the only specialized national heritage university in Korea, will continue to actively expand its collaboration and exchange with overseas institutions related to cultural heritage. This proactive administration aims to significantly contribute to the training of specialists in the field of national heritage and enhance domestic and international exchanges.
