아·태 고위급 조달정책 협력의 장 열려, AI·디지털 전환 , 지속 가능한 성장 등 공공조달 이슈 논의

  조달청(청장 백승보)은 11월 26일부터 27일까지 서울에서 아시아개발은행 (ADB)과 공동으로「제2회 ADB 아·태 고위급 조달정책 워크숍」을 개최한다.

  이번 워크숍은 조달청과 ADB가 전자조달 확산을 통해 아태지역 개도국의 조달 효율성과 투명성을 제고하기 위해 '15년에 설립한 "아태지역 전자조달 네트워크"를 기반으로 추진되는 협력 사업이다. 올해 행사에는 조지아·인도·우즈베키스탄·키르기스스탄 등 아시아·태평양 지역 9개국의 고위급 조달정책 담당자와 ADB 조달 전문가가 참석하여 진행된다.

  워크숍에서는 AI·빅데이터·클라우드 기술을 접목한 차세대 나라장터(KONEPS) 구축 사례를 시작으로 ▲공공조달의 디지털 전환과 정책 지원 방안, ▲지속가능한 공공조달의 사회·경제·환경적 가치, ▲ 각국의 사례 연구 등을 중심으로 심도 있는 논의가 이루어질 예정이다.

  또한 이번 행사는 조달청이 우리기업 해외 진출을 위해 개최하는「글로벌 공공조달 수출상담회(GPPM)」와 연계하여 진행되며, 참석 대표단은 한국의 혁신·우수제품 및 G-PASS 인증기업을 방문해 국내 중소기업의 우수한 제품을 직접 체험하고 기술력을 확인할 예정이다. 두 행사의 동시 개최를 통해 한국 조달기업의 해외시장 진출을 위한 효과가 증대될 것으로 기대된다.

The 2nd International Procurement Workshop, jointly organized by the Public Procurement Service of Korea (PPS) and the ADB, will be held on 26-27 November in Seoul, South Korea. 

This workshop is a joint cooperation initiative between the PPS and ADB, built upon the Asia-Pacific E-Procurement Network established in 2015 to enhance transparency and efficiency in public procurement across Developing Member Countries (DMCs) in the region through the expansion of e-procurement systems.

The 2025 workshop will bring together high-level procurement officials from nine DMCs—including Georgia, India, Uzbekistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic—along with procurement professionals from ADB.

The workshop will begin with a presentation on the development of the next-generation KONEPS, which incorporates AI, big data and cloud technologies, followed by in-depth discussions on a range of topics, including: (1) digital transformation in public procurement and related policy support measures, (2) the social, economic and environmental values of sustainable public procurement, and (3) country case studies from the Asia-Pacific region.

In addition, the workshop will be held in conjunction with the Global Public Procurement Marketplace (GPPM), an export consultation event hosted by PPS to support Korean companies in entering overseas procurement markets. During the visit, the delegation will tour G-PASS companies to experience innovative and high-quality products firsthand and learn more about their technological capabilities. By organizing the two events simultaneously, PPS expects to create greater synergy in helping Korean suppliers expand their presence in global markets.

PPS Administrator Baek Seung-bo stated, "This workshop serves as a meaningful platform not only for advancing AI- and digital technology–driven innovation in public procurement across the Asia-Pacific region, but also for exploring ways to enhance procurement administration that supports sustainable development, while expanding opportunities for Korean suppliers to enter overseas markets."

He added,

"PPS will continue to work closely with ADB to strengthen Korea's global leadership in public procurement and to actively support Korean companies in expanding their presence in international procurement markets."
