First and foremost, let us express our deepest tribute and respect to the late Rod Asanapan, a brave man who now rests in peace on this land.

<롯 아사나판> 용사님께서는 수리나리 병원 간호부대의 분대장으로 복무하시던 중 대한민국을 지키기 위해 참전을 자원하셨습니다.
The late Rod Asanapan served as a military officer at the Suranaree Hospital when he made the courageous decision to join the war to protect the Republic of Korea.
용사님은 ‘작은 호랑이’로 불렸던 태국군 소속으로 참전하시어 대한민국의 수호에 기여한 공적을 인정받아 태국 정부로부터 승리 메달을 받으셨습니다.
He was a proud member of the Thai “Little Tigers,” fighting valiantly during the war. He was awarded the Victory Medal by his government in recognition of his dedication in defending the Republic of Korea.
용사님을 비롯한 유엔참전용사들의 숭고한 희생과 헌신으로 대한민국은 적의 침략을 물리치고 오늘날의 번영을 이룩할 수 있었습니다.
Thanks to the noble sacrifices and contributions of UN veterans like the late Rod Asanapan, we were able to withstand the aggression of the enemy and pave the way for the prosperity and peace we enjoy today.
