It is a great pleasure to see all of you this evening. I am Kang Jung-ai, Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
행사나 접견을 통해 뵀던 반가운 분들도 계시고 이 자리를 통해 처음 뵙는 분들도 계신 것 같습니다.
I am especially delighted to reconnect with some of you whom I have met at previous events, and for those I am meeting for the first time, it is truly an honor to welcome you.

지난 8일부터는 대한민국 정부의 초청으로 스무 개 나라의 유엔참전용사와 가족분들께서 대한민국을 방문해주셨고

어제는 부산 유엔기념공원에서 유엔참전용사 국제추모의 날 기념식과 두 분의 유엔군 참전용사 안장식이 개최되었습니다.
Yesterday, we commemorated the International Memorial Day dedicated to the UN veterans of the Korean War. On the occasion, we interred the remains of two UN soldiers at the UN Cemetery in Korea.
대한민국 정부와 국민은 유엔참전용사님들의 인류애와 헌신을 기억하고 더 많이 알리고 기릴 수 있도록 하겠습니다.
Through such events, the Republic of Korea and its people continue to honor and remember the contributions of UN veterans and to pass on their noble legacy to as many people as possible.
유엔참전국과 유엔군사령부의 대한민국을 위한 헌신에 감사드리며, 앞으로도 6·25전쟁으로 맺어진 참전국들과의 동맹을 더욱 굳건히 할 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.
On behalf of the Korean government, I would like to express our deepest gratitude for the selfless contributions of the UN Sending States and the United Nations Command. We are fully committed to strengthening the alliances that were forged during the Korean War.
그리고, 오늘 이 자리에 함께 해주신 유엔참전국 대사님들과 지속적으로 모임을 가지면서 대한민국 정부 간의 국제보훈 분야 협력 기반을 구축해 나가겠습니다.
Furthermore, we will continue to host gatherings such as this one, as they are essential in laying the foundation for ongoing cooperation between the UN Sending States and the Republic of Korea.
만찬 이후 이어질 음악회에서도 즐거운 시간 보냈으면 좋겠습니다.
