가장 먼저 1989년 수교 이래 양국 관계가 정무, 경제, 인적 교류 등 제반 분야에서 발전해 온 것을 높이 평가하고 방산, 인프라, 교역, 투자 등 각종 분야에서 협력도 더욱 강화하기로 했습니다.

투스크 총리는 국제무대에서 주요 경제국인 양국이 협력할 사안이 많다며, 한국과의 파트너십이 한층 더 확대되기를 희망한다고 밝혔습니다.

역사와 가치를 공유하는 양국의 상호 호혜적 발전을 위해 앞으로도 긴밀한 소통을 지속해 나갈 예정입니다.

I was very pleased to have my first phone conversation with Prime Minister Donald Tusk of Poland.

We highly appreciated the development of relations between our two countries in various fields—including political affairs, the economy, and people-to-people exchanges—since diplomatic ties were established in 1989. We also agreed to further strengthen cooperation in areas such as the defense industry, infrastructure, trade and investment.

Prime Minister Tusk said that our two countries, as major economies, can cooperate on many issues on the international stage, and expressed his hope to expand the partnership further.

Our two countries, sharing similar history and values, will continue to maintain close communication for mutually beneficial development.
